Serious vehicle accident under investigation on Victory Drive at 30th Avenue in Columbus
Police believe the two shootings (7th street and connector) are related, but haven't made that connection 100%
The 2nd shooting was on 7th street off Cleveland Ave around 10:30am. According to APD a dispute led to the shooting. 1 person was shot, had non-life threatening injuries. A bullet traveled across Cleveland Ave & hit an bystander. They were in serious condition
2 year agoThe officer is on administrative leave. GBI, Homicide Unit, and CSI on scene. A female was also shot. GBI will send out a press release soon
2 year agoShell casings are now being established and photos are being taken on this scene of this officer involved shooting which left 32-year-old Alonzo Carter dead. An officer who was working security nearby shot Carter after Carter disobeyed orders to put down the gun

2 year agoHomicide Commander said the driver of the silver car is in the hospital in critical condition. The medical examiner arrived & removed a man's body from the passenger seat of the car. Detectives also found 2 hand guns in the car. Three lanes of traffic are now open

2 year agoPolice investigating a deadly shooting on I-75/I-85 NB. All lanes are shut down near Langford Pkwy. There are dozens of bullet holes in the car detectives are focusing on.
