2 year agoFirefighters responded at 6:08 pm to a resident reported house fire on the 1900 block of Kentland Place in Snellville. One person was home and escaped uninjured after being alerted by smoke alarms. One dog and one cat remain unaccounted for. The cause of the fire is undetermined

2 year agoFirefighters responded at 4:57 a.m. to a reported house fire with entrapments in the 4400 block of Beaver Road SW in unincorporated Loganville. A 10-year-old child was found deceased inside the home. The cause is under investigation.

2 year agoDeKalb County firefighters were busy, overnight, at this structure on Candler Road. Firefighters tell it is vacant and they are not yet sure if it had last been a home or a house converted to a business. Either way, there are no injuries.
