2 year agoNobody injured. This was the scene as apartments burned on Richardson St SW in Atlanta earlier. Flames have been knocked down now. This became a 2-alarm fire, damaging several units in two adjacent buildings
2 year ago@ATLFireRescue responded to a two alarm fire early this morning on Richardson Street in SW Atlanta. Several units have been impacted and flames were shooting through the roof when firefighters got on scene.

2 year agoA standoff with an armed man in Gwinnett County ended shortly after midnight, about 19 hours after it started. Police tell the suspect has now been taken into custody.

2 year agoThe Gwinnett Police SWAT Team is currently out on a barricaded gunman at Gwinnett Point Apartments in Norcross. We urge residents to avoid the area until we can resolve the incident
2 year ago300 block of Old Ivy Road after a tree had fallen onto a home, trapping one male. All responding firefighters managed to move the tree and extricate the man just after 8:00 am. The man was transported for further evaluation

Investigation underway after 4 people shot on Graydon Street in Savannah
2 year agoAt approximately 7:15 pm, units responded to Oak Drive SW to a one-story residence with heavy fire and smoke showing. Firefighters worked to contain the fire and located one deceased victim covered by debris. The cause of the fire is under investigation
2 year agoHere's a picture of the home on fire provided by the Atlanta fire department. Spokesperson says they were dispatched shortly after 7 PM - one person was found deceased in the home lying on their back. The identity is not known pending further investigation
2 year agoThe City of East Point just posted this photo from Ben Hill Road. This appears to be what caused the power outages in and around that area
